Stay Snarky.
I have been researching a million things the last few weeks. Partly because I really do have ADD (the business name is NOT a coincidence), and partly because the possibilities are WIDE open. Wha? That’s amazing. How often in life does that really happen?
Today I had lunch with a woman who does some pretty powerful things in a very large organization that helps make the world a better place. I love her. She’s got a lil sass in her and knows how to get things done. Who doesn’t appreciate that?
It was a great conversation full of possibilities, and she helped stoke my snarky fire. I think I’ve been too tired the last – well – lot of months – to be very snarky, and that’s a shame. We can get a reputation for being too bold, or too opinionated, and for not taking “no” for an answer. Who cares? Kiss my ….. It’s time to put a lil sass back into my future plans. We’ve got a shiny new decade to kick off!
So, I’m dedicating the rest of December to staying snarky. I’ve never been one to let life just happen to me. Right now is no different. I’ve been talking, asking, pushing, CREATING all over the place. What a great thing to have time to do. Fate has dropped all of these really badass, super accomplished people in my path. Randomly, I run into them. Get texts of their toenail colors. Talk BIG, BOLD ideas. My snarky’s coming back…..
How’s your snark feeling as we wind down the year? Got it all lined up to hit a new decade like a rabid pit bull? Me, too.
I had a conversation with a very successful business man this afternoon. We talked about ideas. Trends. Things that could be… ya know, “WHAT IFs”. I hung up a lil nervous because some of those ideas are BIG. Then turned on my power lesbian LP playlist (she will kick your ass! And if you don’t listen to her, you SHOULD) and BOOM. Let’s go—
Fear – nope.
Unknown – OK.
Assholes: NOT PUTTING UP WITH YOU.
New challenges: are the holidays over yet so we can get going?
You know I’ve got like 3 things already to push the pedal down on…. ALLLLL the way. Now, I’m getting my snark. It’s time to BUILD something again. And I can’t wait.
Stay snarky, my friends. What does this wild new decade hold for you?
