It’s the Final Countdown…
ONE WEEK. Thank heaven. One week until life and schedules and the universe gets back to normal. It seems a shame to wish time away, but when life has ALREADY been in limbo and then you hit the holidays: BAM …. You have this thing… like space…. Wide open, empty. LONG days.
Every drawer is cleaned and organized.
I’ve removed every item of clothing I can make myself donate from “closet room” (I should introduce you one day, she’s really quite beautiful).
- I have volunteered.
- I’ve applied.
- I’ve planned.
- I have arranged.
- I have connected.
- And now, I want the holidays over.
Judge me. Roll your eyes. I have always loved January. I got married in January. I graduated from college in January. It’s a time to start clean, be better, renew, clean up and clear out.

I love fresh and new. And while I think too many people do the cliché “resolution” / “New Year, New You.” foof-nanigans … (and I HATE the gym until from January 1 until about January 21 when all those good intentions get traded for a box of cookies and a dumpy sweater).
January, 2020: I AM READY FOR YOU. Let’s do this. Where’s my Monday morning routine? I got shit to do!
